i think litter boxes dont work =[. the easiest way is to put newspaper like 2 layers instead because they will easily back into it and since they go right when they wake up. It is a lot easier when you are cleaning it because you just replace the newspaper and like disinfect every week under it.

@fvkasm2x Yeah, my idea was to take two shelves put them face-to-face and remove the back from one and use it for the door. college is expensive though and i dont know if i can afford one right now
makes me sad.
Oh, and I would have put the litter box on the bottom. When she has an accident or knocks litter out of the box… it falls down to the other 2 levels. Put the bedding/toys on the top and the litter on the bottom.
@BxJxW: Thanks. In hindsight, I would have used a bigger frame. I ended up getting a second ferret 2 weeks later, so it is a bit small for 2 of them. Luckily I let them run around the house almost whenever they want. You can get some great Ferret Nation cages for about $150 that easily hold 2 ferrets … Mine has worked just fine though, not a problem yet after 1 year
I love it, this just helped me decide to get one. Rock on man. killer idea.
