Ferret Info

Ferret Litterbox can be seen in part 2 of this video and easy clean with no oder in home . If you have a ferret in the house you know the smell, mess, and work that it takes to put up with having a ferret. Eventually the house and even you will start to smell. You can have it a lot better using a cage like this. You kind of owe it to yourself and your ferret tp properly care for. I only have to feed them once every 2 months, Give them water one time a week & spray the water hose to clean every couple of days. I have built a couple designs of ferret cages. All of them had a 6″ hose going to outdoor cage/litterbox. The In-home part of this design of cage is the only one the ferrets STOPPED going to the bathroom in completly and never has. The in-home part is made from old water jugs with ferret sleeping hammocs hanging inside them & Corigated 6″ hose which goes outside through a window with a insert going to outdoor cage / litterbox. It’s sealed up tight , & with no oder in the house. If I want to remove them from the cage or feed & water it”s done outside. When I made this cage I took great care cutting the water jugs so as the 6″ hose fit good & tight .(a heat gun made this easier) I think this cage could have been buried underground instead coming into the house. The 6″ tubing has to be steep or they will use the bathroom in it. Well good luck. Please view part 2 of this video
