i want a ferret… people say female ferrets stink less, is that true? and does is really necessary to have them in a cage? or they could hang out around without the need of a cage..?

@WendyPicasso Ferrets are a very playful animal, which require 4-5hours of playing A DAY. They also sleep up to 20 hours a day, so he may get a little mad at you for playing with him when hes sleeping (he may not if hes dead sleeping)
i’m trying to get a ferret but my mom says they stink like pee!! idc though my dad will get me one behind her back 3:) oh and do any of u ferret owners out there know if they like alot of interaction? like will he be mad at me if i want to walk him around and play with him ALOT?

also i would like to add if he was being aggressive, he would show the signs all animals show, coat sticking up, hissing, and in a defensive posture, not rolling around on the bed. If he was biting her for real, their would be blood and screaming, they have very sharp teeth. Another way to tell a pissed off ferret is that the hair on their tails completely stick out

Lol @ people saying he looks mad. If you ever had a ferret you would know when they jump around like that and “attack” it means they are really happy, thats the way that ferrets play. Just like many dogs and cats “fight” very rough.
